Moreover, To ensure great skiing throughout our ski season, Ski Apache’s snowmaking system covers over 35% of our skiable terrain. We make snow on a variety of trails, so that all skiers, from beginner to expert are assured of plenty of skiable terrain. Our high capacity system turns up to1 million gallons of water into fresh snow nightly. So, maybe you don’t like to ski the deep powder, the ‘crud’ or the bumps. Maybe you are a novice skier or just someone that likes to cruise the groomed powder. Also, Ski Apache’s fleet of grooming machines start early, now 3 o’clock in the morning is early isn’t it? The entire beginner area and most novice areas are groomed daily as well as selected intermediate and expert trails to give skiers of every ability level some of the silky stuff. And grooming opens up more terrain to skiers who aren’t ready for the ‘tough stuff’.
