The cove is located on Bodega Head and has a sand crescent shaped beach behind it. Neither the cove or the beach is open to the general public. However if you are a student or staff member at the University of California Davis Bodega Marine Laboratory (BML), it is assessable due to its bluff located directly above. There are 2 prominent beaches in the area Bodega Head and Campbell Cove. The town is very welcoming, lined with an assortment of shops, art galleries, and top notch seafood. With the breathtaking 55 mile Pacific coastline, it isn’t hard to see why its a favorite amongst locals and tourists.
