Enjoy the view from Midnight Pass in Florida. Midnight Pass is the slim area of beach on the barrier island between the key and Venice, and named for nearby Midnight Pass Road. Midnight Pass was closed off by human intervention in 1984. The Army Corp of Engineers formed the Intracoastal Waterways, sealing off Little Sarasota Bay from the Gulf. It’s a great place to visit because it’s super peaceful, never crowded and the beach is beautiful! It also is great because you can beach your boat just on the eastern side of the sand dune and simply walk over to the beach.
