Mambo Beach is a calm, clear lagoon in front of a clean shopping complex. There are many restaurants, and shops and ample lounge chairs for rent at the beach. Mambo Beach is also known as Sea Aquarium Beach and it is one of Curaçao’s beautiful man made beaches. Mambo Beach is very popular with tourists that enjoy cruises. As a result, it can get a bit crowded at times. Mambo Beach charges an entrance fee of about $3.50 and beach chairs cost an additional fee. The beach generally welcomes visitors daily from around 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., although some of the beach clubs stay open until 2 a.m. The shopping area is generally open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
