View from Anna Maria Oyster Bar

Enjoy your virtual travel via the Bridge Street Pier Webcam. The iconic pier overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway. Believe it or not the pier was once half of the Cortez Bridge, that connected Anna Maria Island with the village of Cortez. In 1967, the drawbridge was opened and the Cortez Bridge no longer served a purpose. The half of the bridge closest to the Village of Cortez was removed and The Bradenton Beach side remained. Also, this is how we now have the Historic Bridge Street Pier.

This scenic pier offers stunning views of the surrounding waters, making it an ideal spot for leisurely strolls, fishing, or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the area. The pier is often bustling with activity, as it provides access to various recreational opportunities, including boating and kayaking. Furthermore, it allows individuals to immerse themselves in the serene aquatic environment.

Additionally, the pier is conveniently situated near local shops and restaurants, enhancing the overall experience by offering a variety of dining and shopping options just a short walk away. The pier serves as a focal point for cultural activities, including art shows, live music performances, and seasonal festivals, which contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of Bradenton.
