It is known to be the “Central Hub” of the Black Hills Trail System. The snowmobile trails were designed around Trailshead to make navigating the heavy snows easier. The town of Lead in the Black Hills of South Dakota was once responsible for much of the world’s gold. Now it’s home to year-round exploration, delicious restaurants and one of the most important science labs in the world.
