Live Ijzerenleen Markt Mechelen
This live camera is located at a central location between the Ijzerenleen Square, Grote Markt, and Schoenmarkt. IJzerenleen is referred to by the locals as the Champs Elysées of Mechelen. There are impressive facades, beautiful shops and one of the oldest town halls in Flanders. In the past, a stream flowed here between Dijle and Koolvliet, along which a fish market took place. The IJzerenleen gets its name from the iron railings next to the vlietje, which are still there.
