Whether it’s the bustling streets of Atlanta, the serene beaches of Tybee Island, or the picturesque mountains of North Georgia, these webcams serve as a window into the state’s unique environments and activities.

The Georgia climate is a major reason so many people continue to move to the state. While Georgia’s climate varies among the state’s six regions, all areas are colored by four well-defined seasons: Summer brings an average temperature of 80 degrees and the added benefit of warm days and cool evenings well into October.

This state is bordered by South Carolina to the northeast, North Carolina to the north, Tennessee to the northwest, Alabama to the west, and Florida to the south. Additionally, it has a coastline along the Atlantic Ocean, which contributes to its unique climate and ecological diversity. Georgia is renowned for its vibrant cities, such as Atlanta, which serves as the state capital and a major economic hub, as well as Savannah, known for its historic architecture and charming waterfront.

There are 192 direct flights from ATL to destinations in the United States and throughout the world, operated by 18 airlines.

2. Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). SAV, the second major of international airports in Georgia, has a modest share of foreign passengers in 2020 (0.07% out of 1,199,995 air travelers). Flights from SAV to 25 cities in the United States are served by 10 carriers.

3. Augusta Regional Airport (AGS). The airport is a major regional hub in Georgia. In 2020, its air passenger volume was 316,388, less than half of the 2019 numbers. Carriers provide scheduled flights to 4 U.S. destinations.

4. Columbus Airport (CSG). In 2019, the passenger volume of CSG was about 100,000 air travelers. It’s one of the most popular ways to go to Atlanta rather than the congested ATL. Delta Air Lines provides a connection from CSG to 3 other U.S. cities.
