The college has additional off-campus sites in Jackson, Lander, Thermopolis, Dubois and the nearby Wind River Indian Reservation. Riverton, also known as the Rendezvous City, has grown to include over 10,000 in population, and has altered from a city not only centered around ranching and mining, but also one focused on educational and commercial opportunity. The Wind River Indian Reservation, which lies near Riverton, is the seventh largest Indian reservation in the United States. The reservation is inhabited by  the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes.
