The Park Track Trail has a 0.42 mile hike. Visitors have the opportunity to travel through the woods and views of the breath-taking lake. The park is filled with a variety of trails through hundreds of acres of woods and fields. Some trails are open to mountain biking and horseback riding. The others are for hiking. Cane Creek is located just an hour away from Charlotte, NC in Waxhaw. Cane Creek Park is a favorite campsite amongst North Carolinians.

Camping at the Park

The lakefront park and campground is the main attraction of this area. Cane Creek offers many things to do including; fishing, boating, and swimming to disc and mini golf. The park has 108 campsites for tent and RV campers–all of which have water and electricity and a limited number of which have sewer hookups. The park also offers nine wilderness campsites for walk-in tent campers, as well as 11 group camping sites and six rustic cabins.
